A Note from Pastor Dave regarding Christmas Eve:
We have been looking forward to our upcoming Christmas Eve service, not only because we enjoy that every year, but also because of the strange year, it was going to be fun and festive to do it outside together. Unfortunately one of our staff members has tested positive for COVID. After consideration by the elders, to be careful, we feel that the whole staff ought to lay low and quarantine, just to be safe. In light of this, and the lack of time to make appropriate adjustments, we are going to have to cancel our candlelight Christmas Eve service.
We do have a team of people that will be leading the Sunday service on the 27th who haven’t been exposed, so that service will safely take place outside at the normal place and time. The staff that has been exposed will quarantine for the next 10 days
We’re sorry for this news and we will miss getting to spend the evening together with you, but I know that the Lord will be with each and every one of you during this special time that allows us to reflect on God’s love for us in sending his Son. And because of this, even in 2020, we can have a meaningful and fulfilling Christmas.
Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
