We believe that baptism is the public display of a private commitment to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and we offer regular opportunities for baptism as part of the life of our church. Baptism doesn’t make you a believer - it shows that you already believe. Baptism does not "save" you; only your faith in Christ does that. Baptism is like a wedding ring - it's the outward symbol of the commitment you make in your heart.

We offer a Baptism Class that is required prior to being baptized. Baptism classes & baptism services are scheduled at various times throughout the year. Contact the Church Office for more information on baptism.

At Calvary, we do not baptize children until they are old enough to understand what it means to accept Christ as their Savior and Lord. Instead, we practice a “baby or child dedication." This is a covenant between the parents and God on the behalf of the child. The parents commit to raising their child in the faith until the child is old enough to make a personal profession of Christ.  Contact the Church Office for more information on child dedication.
