In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s house will be established at the top of the mountains and will be raised above the hills. All nations will stream to it, and many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob.He will teach us about His ways so that we may walk in His paths.”          (Isaiah 2:2-3)
 
God’s people are to be found in every nation on earth. Calvary’s GO Team will be experiencing that in Nairobi, Kenya, during the next two weeks. We at home have a part in this short-term missions trip, and that is to pray.  Here are some ideas of how:
 
1.  Pray that, through our team, the Lord will bring hopeto many Kenyans, even if their physical circumstances do not change. 
 
2.  Pray that the work the team is doing – leading a Vacation Bible School, building school desks, and making hospice and prayer visits to homes – will be a practical help now and also an eternal investment.
 
3.  Lift up the hosts of our team, Wallace and Mary Kamau, and their ministry, Missions of Hope. 
 
4.  Ask the Lord to establish instant fellowship and unity between wealthy, white, English-speaking, American believers and poor, black, Swahili-speaking, Kenyan believers. Pray that this amazing bond in Christ will be a powerful testimony to unbelievers.
 
5.  Ask Him to help each team member put Christ on display in everything they do and say. May the Holy Spirit constantly remind them: He must increase, but I must decrease. (John 3:30)
 
6.  Pray that the team will be content to leave the resultsof their efforts to God and accept that they will probably not see all the fruit in this life. 
 
7.  Join the team’s Facebook group to learn more about the team members and read updates and time-sensitive prayer requests.
