1 Corinthians 15:1-34
 
Thank the Lord for the gospel. If we hadn’t traded our filthy rags for Jesus’ white robes of righteousness, we couldn’t stand in the Father’s presence to offer praise or ask for His favor. Spend some time appreciating the fact that, even though you don’t deserve it, you have moved from the category of “dead” to “alive.”
 
Lord, help us live out the gospel, not just store the facts of the gospel in our heads. Use the gospel to change how we live and respond to life’s challenges.
 
Ask God to help us put our focus on eternal life with Jesus Christ – the hope of the gospel – instead of the trials of this life.
 
Pray for confidence, boldness, opportunities, and discernment in sharing the gospel with others.
 
Calvary Family
 
Thank God for the success of FunFest on Saturday night. Pray that the families who enjoyed the event and caught a glimpse of the love of God through His church will return on a Sunday morning.
 
Chandler Dixon, who is an ultrasound technician, is in Peru on a medical mission trip through November 5. Pray for safety for Chandler and the team, for success in their medical work, and for spiritual fruit from the testimony of the team.
 
Continue to lift up Lorraine Kratt, who is awaiting recommendations about treatment for the recurrence of her cancer. Pray for wisdom for Lorraine and her doctors.
 
Pray for good and godly fellowship at the Men’s Breakfast on Saturday.
 
Remember to pray for the men of the TLC house, that they will find the strength to overcome their addictions in the Lord and remain strong in Him.
